Two men, Michael Kuilan and Antonio Venti, were charged with distributing fentanyl-laced heroin that caused the death of Cecilia Gentili, a prominent transgender and sex worker rights advocate, in her Brooklyn home on February 6, 2024. They pleaded not guilty and were released on bail.
